I don’t want to put you off camping and for years now we have been extremely fortunate with perfect weather and not too many accidents,except for the year one of our camping buddies lost his thumb but that’s another story.
It was the year 2012 and we were all looking forward to our annual camping trip coming up. Theres something about this camping trip that feeling grotty and dirty for a couple of weeks is definately worth putting up with to enjoy the many other aspects of camping such as waking up to the sound of cockatoo’s, early rising kids chants of laughter, the keen skiiers early morning pass by, relaxing and sitting around the campfire sharing our stories, watersports, morning kangaroo sighting walks, easter egg hunts, birthday parties, climbing trees, fishing, river floats, motorbike riding, night walks, cooking marshmellows and damper on our campfires, enjoying the most of wet weather by playing in mud-slides, flying high on our man made fox and much much more.
